‘Tien jaar hard werken’ (‘Ten Years of Hard Work’) is a booklet I created following a conversation with influential and award winning designer Renate Boere.
The interview focuses on what it means to become a designer today, as well as in the early days of her own career. We spoke about her perspective on design, her working methods, and the journey of building a creative practice. It also includes a lot images of her
own work.
The booklet shares valuable insights and practical advice for aspiring designers.
The title refers to a quote from Renate herself, highlighting the reality that becoming a successful and ambitious designer requires perseverance. She described how it took her ten years of continuous hard work to establish herself in the design world.
